Leighland Christian School provides a number of  fee payment options and fee policies exist to ensure Christian education is not outside the reach of families. Fee payment using electronic transfer arrangements via Direct Debit or BPAY are available.  Fee Discounts apply for parents who pay their fees in advance.  This incentive can attract a 5% discount if the entire year is paid before Term 1 commences.  If you are a low income family you are encouraged to apply for Fee Assistance. People in full time Christian Ministry or on leave from the mission field can arrange for Fee Assistance automatically under our discount fee structure.

School fees are inclusive of all books and stationery and cover most other educational expenses excepting uniform and some year 11 & 12 subjects. This means there are no hidden education costs allowing parents to budget effectively. Family discounts apply for the second and third child and there is no charge for the fourth child onwards. This keeps fees affordable for larger families.

Levy Structure in 2010:
There is a levy for computing of $105.00 per child from grade 5 up to 12, this is to ensure we continue to provide a wide range of technology as well as a secure and well managed computer network on both campuses.  The Wynyard Bus Levy is set at $250.00 per year per family to facilitate travel to Burnie or Ulverstone campus from the Wynyard and Somerset area (Bus provided by the school). Some specialist subject choices in Year 11 &12 attract a $250.00 levy per subject to cover the additional cost requirements of these subject area. There is a family levy per year of $70.00 which is set specifically to raise funds for capital improvements.

Fee Assistance:
Fee assistance is offered to families who complete the Fess Assistance Process. Assistance is provided to families who are on a low income or who have special circumstances.  Fee Assistance is assessed on an individual family basis the fees are based on the outcome of this assessment.  This process is strictly confidential and parents information is secure. The Board provides fee assistance to ensure that families who desire Christian education are not disadvantaged on the basis of not being able to afford full fees.
