Executive Summary: This report reviews current scientific literature to determine what is known about the possible impacts of Asian honeybees (Apis cerana) on the Australian environment. The report was commissioned by the Australian Government (Department of Sustainability, Environment, Population, Water and Communities) to provide information for decisionā€makers and policy officers seeking to influence environmental biosecurity. Close to 100 references were reviewed and stored in an Endnote biobliographic database.
