If you happened to be in Hobart on Monday last week, you may have been greeted by the spectacle of 'Krusty', our giant freshwater crayfish, wandering the CBD to promote the International Year of Forests 2011 . And if you haven't visited the Railtrack Rider at Maydena yet - the launch of the new 'Florentine Station' has added yet another reason to experience this one-off Tasmanian adventure. I've been on the Railtrack Rider myself a number of times, so I can honestly say, it's great fun. <read more>

One for the diary, make sure you get down to the Australian Wooden Boat Festival in Hobart from February 11-14, and catch up with our guys at the Island Specialty Timber stand. More on that, the next episode of Going Bush and the new AirWalk Lodge next week.

Until next time,

Ken
