Forestry Tasmania Online Shop Supply and Delivery Policy

Delivery Information

Forestry Tasmania delivers goods and services in various ways, including by courier or electronic downloads.

Delivery Times

Forest Practices Plans purchased on line are provided as unique download links sent to a customer’s registered online shop email account once payment has been verified.

These links and the information therein may not be copied or passed on to third parties.

The date on which goods are dispatched depends on the size and quantity of the order. Where non-electronic stocks are available at the time of order and payment, delivery usually occurs within three to four (3-4) business days of the payment of that order.

Unless otherwise arranged, any physical deliveries will normally be made by courier.

Out-of-Stock Items

Where stocks become unavailable you may elect to back-order the goods or request a refund of any payment already made.

Where only part of your order cannot be delivered due to unavailable stocks, you may elect to receive the available items or defer full delivery until all items become available. Any partial delivery will require prepayment of the additional delivery and handling costs.

Our prices will remain fixed for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of order, following which we reserve the right to amend the price. Should this occur we will endeavour to contact you before proceeding with your order.

Back-ordered items will be dispatched as soon as stocks become available. We will provide our best estimate for any delay times for the dispatch of your order, although we cannot guarantee the information as we rely on our suppliers for the items in our stores. Where unforeseen or lengthy delays are likely we will advise you on a monthly basis.

Forestry Tasmania Returns and Refunds

Forestry Tasmania will assist customers who wish to return or exchange goods purchased from our online stores.

Refunds or exchanges may only be requested within seven (7) days of the original purchase transaction.

Forest Practices Plans (FPPs) delivered electronically may not be returned for a refund. Where it can be shown a genuine mistake was made in the ordering process a second PDF will be emailed.

Return/Exchange of Non-Faulty Goods

With a receipt

Refunds will be made in the same form as the original payment.

Credit card payment refunds will be made to the original credit card. A small delay in the refund transmission may occur due to matters not within the control of Forestry Tasmania.

Without a receipt

We can provide an exchange voucher or an exchange for similar goods.

Return/Exchange of Faulty goods

Contact our team for advice on the availability of a refund, exchange, repair or replacement of goods that don’t comply with warranty standards.

Duplicated or Incorrect Charges

If you believe you have been incorrectly charged you may be required to provide official bank documentation showing the incorrect charge/s before credit arrangements can be made.

Non-Availability of Goods

Where stocks or ordered goods and services are not likely to become available, the customer may only claim a refund of monies previously paid in respect of those stocks, or alternatively seek an exchange voucher for goods that are available, and similarly-priced as the original payment.
