If your details change, you need to inform Metro, call on 13 22 01 for more information about changing your details.

Privacy Notice - We collect your personal information to process and administer your Greencard application. Without your personal information we can not process your application. Subject to some exceptions allowed by law you may request access to your personal information while we store it. If access can not be provided we are required to tell you why. Your personal information may also be disclosed to financial service organisations but only in relation to processing credit card payments. With your consent we may also use your personal information to tell you about Metro news and services.

Date of birth is required in case we need to verify your identiy.

Are you eligible for free student travel?

If you are eligible for free student travel to or from your place of study, you need to apply for free travel through the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources (DIER). Once your application is approved by DIER and DIER notifies Metro, Metro will issue you with your Greencard at no cost. If you lose your Greencard, you will have to pay for a replacement card.

Has your Greencard been lost or stolen?

Please login to your Greencard account to report your card as lost or stolen, from there you can block your old card and order a replacement card. We will transfer your remaining travel credit balance or free pass entitlements to the new card that you order.

Is your Greencard faulty?

Please complete a Greencard Replacement form to and return it to Metro along with your faulty card.

Are you applying for a new card because your entitlements have changed?

Visit a Metro office and provide evidence of your new entitlement and Metro will waive the Replacement Fee and replace your card for free or for more details call the Metro Information Hotline on 13 22 01.
