Bronte Lagoon drawdown extended
Hydro Tasmania have experienced some delays during the maintenance work on the Bronte Canal. Work was originally scheduled to be completed on 9 March however this has now been extended until 16 March. A return to service date is still to be determined therefore low lake levels in Bronte Lagoon will continue until the 16th March at the earliest. Any questions should be directed to the Project Manager, Andrew Rumsby on 1300 360 441.

Staff from Inland Fisheries Service participated in the CorporateClean Up Australia (CUA) business clean up day on Tuesday 26 February. Areas targeted for the clean up effort were popular fishing locations including Lake Binney, Tungatinah Lagoon, Arthurs Lake, Cluny Lagoon, Lake Repulse, Lake Meadowbank, Wayatinah Lagoon and Lake Catagunyah. IFS would like to encourage all anglers to get involved in CUA day on Sunday 4 March and clean up their favourite fishing spot.
