FPA's forest planning processes
There are three FPA research and advice programs: the Biodiversity Program, the Earth Sciences Program and the Heritage and Landscape Program. Specialists in each program have developed sophisticated processes to identify and protect the forest's special values.
The following descriptions of the planning processes applied by the three programs are simplified for the general public - access these through the tabs on the leaft.
For more details, read the outlines of the processes which the specialists have written for Forest Practices Officers in the FPA services section of this web site.
