Biodiversity Values Database
One of the key recommendations identified in the review of the biodiversity provisions of the Tasmanian Forest Practices Code was the ongoing development of the web-based species locality tool, previously known as the Fauna Values Database. This project reviews species locality data, species profile information, range maps and habitat maps for forest-dependent threatened fauna species. It also involves the development of a 'one-stop-shop' web-interface for forest planners.
The Biodiversity Values Database is available here.
