Welcome to my website.

Thank you for visiting my website. It is an honour to represent the people of Tasmania in Canberra and I consider myself extremely privileged to do so.
I believe it is important to never lose sight of the fundamental values that inspired me to accept the role of Senator. Values such as honesty, diversity, tolerance and a fair go for all Tasmanians make up the core of Labor Party policy and it is these values that I hold close to my heart.
Anyone who knows me would know that I am no stranger to hard work and that I will always do my best for the people I represent. I want to see this beautiful island state that we all call home prosper and grow. Not just for us, but for the future generations of Tasmanians as well.
With the aid of this website I hope to remain accessible to my constituents at all times. It will also serve to keep you informed about Labor Party policy and my roles within the Senate and on Senate committees.
It will also provide you with a means of asking questions and communicating your ideas to me. I sincerely hope that you take advantage of this because knowing how you think and feel about certain topics can assist me in reaching better outcomes for us all.

Minister Burke has said that this vessel is unlike any that has previously been considered...
