Online Services assistance

Centrelink Online Services

If you have forgotten your password visit the reset your password page.

If you have forgotten your Customer Access Number (CAN) and haven’t enrolled any secret questions and answers you will need to re-register for online service.

If you need help visit the Centrelink online services help page.

Medicare Online Services

If you have lost or forgotten your password, or are unable to answer your secret questions, you can reset your password on Medicare Online Service.

Each person on your Medicare card has to register separately

Each person on your Medicare card who is aged 14 or older must register separately for australia.gov.au and link to Medicare Online Services. Parents or guardians can see information for dependants under the age of 14 who are listed on the same card, except Individual Healthcare Identifier details.

Children on another card

If your child has their own Medicare card, or is on a different card, you will not be able to see their information through Medicare Online Services. If your child is not on the Medicare card you have used to access Medicare Online Services, they will not be recognised as being linked to you.

Child Support Online Services

If you have forgotten your password visit the CSAOnline password reset page.

I cannot open the Child Support Online Services log on

The Child Support Online Services log on uses a pop-up window. Your browser may have a pop-up blocker turned on. This may have happened when you installed or upgraded your system.

To log on to Child Support Online Services, you will need to turn off the pop-up blocker or adjust it to accept the Child Support Online Services log on page. Browser toolbars may have also installed their own pop-up blockers that you will need to adjust.

My Child Support Online account seems to be 'locked out'

If you have entered your CSRN and password incorrectly more than three times your account will be 'locked out'. You can reset your account by using the 'Reset Your Password' feature. This is located in the Login to Child Support Online Services box.

The procedure for resetting a locked account is similar to the online enrolment process.

If this process does not reset your account and let you log in you will need to call 131 272 and one of our Customer Service Officers will give you a new temporary password. Please have your CSRN ready when you call us.
