Tasmanian Forests Intergovernmental Agreement

The Prime Minister and the Tasmanian Premier have announced a $276 million funding package to support the adjustment of the Tasmanian forestry industry, and to create a significant conservation benefit by reserving and protecting High Conservation Value native forest areas.

The Tasmanian RFA requires annual reporting on implementation during the first four years and thereafter as part of five-yearly formal reviews, to report progress against milestones.
