cloudy bay beach house

simply beautiful and beautifully simple

Cloudy Bay Beach House - bruny IslandA unique Bruny Island accommodation nestles in dunes and coastal vegetation on South Bruny Island bordering the reserve overlooking iconic Cloudy Bay, South Bruny National Park, Cape Bruny and the vast expanse of the Southern Ocean.

Cloudy Bay Beach House is private, relaxed and has panoramic views of ocean, sky, islands, cliffs and distant mountains in which you can follow patterns of changing weather, watch seabirds on the wing and be mesmerized by endless lines of ocean swells crashing on the sand.

Built on an eighty-five acre Land for Wildlife property, this Bruny Island accommodation was designed to complement its environment with contemporary, linked pavilions offering understated comfort and lifestyle spaces to revive. The house is the idyllic Bruny Island refuge for up to six discerning adults. Enjoy refreshing wines, eat salty oysters, nibble on artisan cheeses whilst creating a feast of Tasmanian produce, then eat, drink and be merry with your friends as the sun fades into darkness and southern stars light the indigo sky.

The residence is the perfect niche to read, play, explore, treat yourself to a massage or simply kick back and watch majestic raptors, sea swells, birds and wildlife whilst you unwind. It’s warm, it’s cool, slide back large doors, be seduced by fresh ocean breezes, make your salute to the sun, wander to the beach, the day's experience is dictated only by your desires. Everything you’re used to at home is at Cloudy Bay Beach House, though you will enjoy a few surprises. Only one thing missing really...and that is you!
