Meeting rooms at your LINC 

LINC Tasmania has meeting rooms available for use by organisations, groups and individuals around the state.

Fees are charged for the commercial use of these rooms, in line with the Department of Education’s Fees and Charges for the use of School Facilities.  Most community or not-for-profit organisations are charged on a cost-recovery basis, although not-for-profit organisations that provide a service of direct benefit to the community in line with the goals of LINC Tasmania may not be charged a fee.  Fees should be paid in advance when submitting the Hire Agreement Form to confirm the booking.

Some LINCs also have equipment available for hire in these meeting rooms, such as overhead projectors, electronic whiteboards, flipcharts, projection screens, transparency projectors and DVD players + TV. Please ask at the time of booking confirmation.

Booking a meeting room

LINC meeting roomRooms must be booked in advance. They may be booked on a regular and ongoing basis, though we reserve the right to cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances. To find out what rooms and equipment are available, have a look at your local LINC's information.

Please read the LINC Tasmania conditions of meeting room use and complete the LINC room hire agreement form, and return the form to your local LINC.  Staff confirm your booking, if a suitable room is available, or discuss options with you if not.

When coming to the LINC to use the meeting room, you will be asked to sign conditions of meeting room use and pay any fees required.
