Access the Natural Values Atlas

The Natural Values Atlas provides an easy to use web interface allowing access to authoritative, comprehensive natural values information.

It can be used to search for information on more than 20,000 plant and animal species from Tasmania, Australia and can display maps showing their location.NVA website

The Natural Values Atlas is a database with a web-based interface that allows observations of Tasmanian plants and animals to be viewed, recorded and analysed. The application maintains species taxonomy and provides access to management documents such as listing statements and recovery plans.

Natural values reports are available and include several natural resource management data sets such as threatened species, geoconservation and TASVEG.

Information on the Natural Values Atlas assists planning and decision-making processes across all levels of government, industry and the general public and improves conservation outcomes for threatened species.

The Natural Values Atlas is a valuable resource available for government and non-government organisations, scientists, consultants, students, educators, travellers and nature enthusiasts.
