Three Year Wood Production Plans

Each year, as a requirement of the Forest Practices Act 1985, Forestry Tasmania publishes its Three Year Wood Production Plan.

To view Forestry Tasmania's planned FOREST COUPE MAPS and FOREST PRACTICES PLANS click on the MAP or the district name list below to select one of the four forest districts, then click on the coupe list you require. The FPPs are shown in the end column of each coupe list.

Public Access to Forest Practices Plans.

These plans are prepared before harvesting begins and as well as being available from this website they are also available for inspection at local Forestry Tasmania district offices.

Any additional coupes  will be included in the Addendum List for each district with maps attached.

The hardwood and softwood three year production plans include schedules for road construction and harvesting of all forest products on a district basis.

The plan has been prepared according to guidelines approved by Forestry Tasmania, and following consultation with the forest industry and local government. It is also consistent with the Regional Forest Agreement (1997), the Tasmanian Community Forest Agreement (2005), the Sustainability Charter (2008) and the Tasmanian Forests Agreement Act 2013.

Actual boundaries and operational specifications are only determined following detailed field surveys and community consultation and are documented in Forest Practices Plans.
