Fishing Code
The Tasmanian Inland Fishing Code contains regulations, seasons, fishing methods and catch limits for inland waters as well as important dates for the angling year.
The Tasmanian Inland Fishing Code is produced annually at the start of the new season. It contains a summary of the regulations governing the recreational fishery at the time of publishing, and is essential reading for licensed freshwater anglers.
A copy is given for free with every licence purchase and included with the renewal notices sent to all full season licence holders. Additional copies are available through the Service, by visiting a licence agent (fishing tackle store) or Service Tasmania shop, or you can download a copy of the most recent issue by clicking on current version below.
