Liquor Accords


A liquor accord is a voluntary collaboration between licensees and community representatives who work together to develop local initiatives to support safe and responsible sale, supply and consumption of liquor. Currently there are five liquor accords in Tasmania.


Burnie Wynyard Accord


The next meeting of the Burnie Wynyard Accord will be held at the Burnie City Council on 21 May 2014.

Chairperson – Ben Carpenter, Beach Hotel

Secretary – Allison Daley, Burnie City Council


Launceston Accord


The next meeting of the Launceston Accord will be held at the Launceston City Council on 8 May 2014.


Chairperson – Kristy Tucker, Lloyds Hotel

Secretary – Lyn Norris, Launceston City Council


Circular Head Accord


    The next meeting of the Circular Head Accord will be held at the Circular Head Council on 13 May 2014.

    Chairperson – Mary Allen, Circular Head Community and Recreation Centre

    Secretary – Deb Mainwaring, Circular Head Council


    Mersey/Leven Accord


    The next meeting of the Mersey/Leven Accord will be held on 21 May 2014 (date and venue to be confirmed).

    Chairperson – Nicholas Dodd, Shearwater Country Club

    Secretary – Sarah Masters, Devonport City Council


    Glenorchy/Brighton Accord


    The next meeting of the Glenorchy/Brighton Accord will be held at the Claremont RSL on 20 May 2014.
